Geothermal energy is a mild and practically inexhaustible source of energy that with the current technology available can cover the needs for heating and cooling and in some cases electricity production.
It offers low cost energy and it doesn't cause pollution with the emission of harmful gases. Its main application is for the heating of gashouses. It also used in hydro cultivation and in teleheating. In Greece geothermal energy is used in heating applications.
